Givenchy’s most popular bag, the Antigona, first launched 10 years ago and quickly climbed the ranks to become an It bag worn by the likes of Kate Moss, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Lily Aldridge, to name a few. With it's boxy silhouette, top handle straps and triangle logo, the Antigona was easily recognizable and it's large proportions made it a utilitarian carryall, too. Soon, it was Givenchy’s best-selling handbag. To celebrate the Antigona’s 10-year anniversary, Givenchy has unveiled a new take on their classic, the Antigona soft, a more supple variation.
 
The Antigona soft has a more relaxed silhouette, but still employs similar top handle straps and a take on the original bag's triangle logo. The first launch is considerable, as the bag comes in small, medium and large sizes. There’s also a plethora of colorways, including a striped leather version and a woven, almost-crocheted bag, both of which will be available in August.
 
As Matthew Williams prepares for his debut in October, the launch of the new Antigona soft paves the way for Givenchy’s new chapter.
