Carlo Ratti Associati's Pura-Case is a concept wardrobe that powerfully purifies clothing with ozone. The battery-powered system bosts a standing design that's made from recycled fibers that's slim enough to fit inside tight spaces and small enough to be portable. The studio says that with the use of ozone, 98% of micro-organisms, bacteria and viruses have the potential to be removed from clothing and fabric, all within the span of an hour.

 

The Pura-Case is a design that represents what Carlo Ratti Associati anticipates will be part of the "new normal." As Carlo Ratti describes, "As the entire world adjusts to a new normal in terms of health and hygiene, Pura-Case aims to promote top sanitation standards in the key interface between us and the environment—clothes."
