As useful as vinyl umbrellas are for offering protection from the rain, they tend to be inexpensive and easily broken, meaning that they quickly become useless, but a new brand called Plasticity is helping to turn a commonly wasted material into new vinyl bags. Plasticity disassembles old umbrellas, cleans them and folds them in a way that creates a material that resembles frosted glass. once stitched together, the bags take on an even more unique appearance that reminds of droplets of rain collecting on a window.

Plasticity offers a range of bag styles and sizes, including the tiny pochette and tote bag sizes for carrying a few more daily essentials in a creative way.
