The Arab art scene celebrates the opening of the Saloua Raouda Choucair Museum, a tribute the one of the most influential middle eastern artists. 

Saloua Raouda Choucair was born in Beirut 1916, and was a pioneer in the modern art, making scupltures, paintings, inspired by the western abstract movement and blending it with Arab and islamic aesthetics. 

The Musuem is a celebration of her creation and art, located in the heart of Mount Lebanon, it resides in a breathtaking landscaped and art infused garden. 

The Museum's collection showcase many of Choucair's sculptures and paintings along with some fashion and design, and items that the artists made along her artistic journey.

The museum will be open to visitors by appointment only, make sure you visit it whenever you have a chance.
