Because of the pandemic, most employees are wearing identical suits and facial coverings and this makes it difficult for them and their patients to recognize each other.

 

Internist Rozemarijn van Bruchem-Visser had been playing with the idea of doing 'something' with her 'work clogs' for some time. She once saw a TV program in which tattoo artists first drew their tattoo on blotting paper before working with needle and ink, she thought that maybe she would visit a tattoo salon one day. The idea was accelerated by the corona crisis: the doctors and nurses on the icu had to leave their shoes in the hospital to prevent the virus from spreading, for many a reason to buy a new pair of clogs. Van Bruchem-Visser wrote a message to Tattoo Bob ('the only tattoo shop she know') and he immediately reacted enthusiastically.
