With the aim of enhancing Dubai’s position as the capital of the creative economy, and with the aim of achieving the strategic plan set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to double the sector’s contribution to Dubai’s GDP, Dubai CommerCity, the first free zone specialized in the e-commerce sector in the region, announced Signing a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority with the aim of strengthening the cultural and creative business system and enhancing the sustainability of the emirate's attractiveness as a global center for the creative economy.
The two parties will cooperate to provide a range of services to the cultural and creative industries sectors, which will support the establishment and development of companies. These services will be provided to institutions working in the sectors: music, fine arts, photography, filmmaking, electronic games, design services, fashion design...
This partnership will also provide a range of offers that vary between creative work spaces, studios and exhibition halls, with the aim of supporting creators, creative skills and companies in enhancing their businesses and providing all facilities that would support companies in economic and investment expansion.
