In collaboration with Artscoops, Maisara Baroud’s electronic exhibition entitled “Existence” was launched today, September 20, and will continue until October 20, 2021.

Maisara Baroud, born in Gaza in 1976, has lived under siege since 2007. He received a BA in Fine Arts from An-Najah University in Nablus and a MA in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo. He is a lecturer in the Department of Engineering and Applied Arts Sciences at the University College of Science and Technology in Gaza, and he is also a lecturer at the College of Fine Arts at Al-Aqsa University. He organized four solo exhibitions and participated in a number of group exhibitions in Palestine and abroad.
His powerful ink paintings on paper depict blurry gray scenes of evacuation, imprisonment, and the movement of corpses where gravity is completely absent. In his words, “It is an aesthetic cry that describes the human suffering in different parts of the world, especially the suffering of the Palestinian people.”

Each of his works carries an existential invitation to reflect on the human condition, and to try to find freedom.

So do not miss the opportunity to see this humanitarian exhibition.
