The citizens and creators of Jeddah gathered for the colorful Corniche initiative, and painted roads, paths and squares to beautify the city.
The event, which was coordinated by the Jeddah Eyes Charitable Organization alongside the Jeddah Municipality, seeks to improve the appearance of the main squares and meeting places across the governorate in line with Vision 2030.
This initiative will extend over the central island of the southern corniche for a distance of 4,500 meters and is scheduled to be implemented in eight phases.
The aim is to highlight urban design, integrate art and architecture into the urban landscape, and increase cultural awareness by improving access to contemporary work in everyday life.
