The manicure involves placing the chip on a fingernail and covering it with nail polish, so that people are able to share contact details or easily direct others to their social media profiles. Looking to the future, there is the potential for the technology to advance enough so that people can pay for bills or share menus and other information once the amount of data that can be stored on the small NFC chips increases.
