On Friday 27 November, Christie's auction house in Hong Kong sold the Kelly Himalaya Hermes bag for an astronomical sum of $ 437,330 (or 365,545 euros). Extremely rare, the Kelly Himalaya bag is a model designed in white and beige crocodile leather. Only a few models are made each year by Hermès, which makes this bag one of the most sought after in the world.

 

 

On September 26th, another bag from the French luxury house had set a world record. At a Los Angeles auction by Kruse GWS Auctions, an auction house specializing in exceptional fashion items, Hermes Birkin crocodile leather sold for $ 287,500. Its peculiarity? It was studded with diamonds and 10.7 ct white gold.
