For his Fall/Winter 2020 collection, Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci looked back on his formative years as a young designer. Dubbed Memories, the collection references the things and experiences that informed Tisci at the start of his career.

Memories builds upon the House’s rich heritage and signature cues like the beige color palette and classic tailoring. The recognizable trench and duffle coats are juxtaposed with new, modern silhouettes, prints and fabrications. Presented on the mirrored runway at Kensington Olympia’s National Hall, the range featured key pieces like equestrian-inspired quilted jackets, long collarless coats, jodhpurs and fluted skirts — all in textural contrasts and new prints. Both new faces and established models walked the Burberry runway, with celebs like Cate Blanchett, FKA Twigs, Naomi Campbell and Luka Sabbat gracing the front row with their presence.
