Exquisite Corpse's collection consists of three handcrafted furniture pieces decorated with a modern twist on straw inlays in vibrant colors and dyed to order.
The set also consists of tallboy, console, and cordenza, and is named after the French saloon game Cadavre Exquis, invented by members of the surrealist avant-garde art movement in 1925.
Every available surface has been decorated with the straw, which was laid with contrasting grain direction to create an additional illusion of three-dimensionality.
