The La Prairie science team uses a mixture of biomolecules, including fats, proteins, peptides, DNA (nucleic acid), carbohydrates and their building blocks, such as amino acids, nucleotides and sugar. These components combine with a new, biomimetic caviar peptide designed based on the amino acid sequence of a specific caviar protein.
